We got this GE® Smart Whole House Water Filtration System a few months dorsum. I did non remember we needed one and still don't. However, I did notice the dishwasher seems to be rinsing improve and less spotting on glasses and silverware. I have no thought if this is related or not. My husband is happy so I'm happy.

Installed this filter and immediately noticed that the xxx micron filter was capturing red sediment in my water. Gross! Installation wasn't difficult, information technology essentially mounts to the wall and comes with one'' to 3/iv'' PEX fittings to drop downwards to the 3/4'' bore piping required by the unit. I'grand coming from PVC, so I did have to get a few extra PVC to PEX fittings, but no large deal. I'm not sure how much I'll employ the connected features, only the ability to monitor h2o usage is really cool, I probably volition appreciate that! Very much looking forward to trying out the other "intermediate" and "avant-garde" filter cartridges likewise to see what kind of nasty junk I can filter out (we are on a well).

Got this for my sis-in-police force. She lives in a mobile habitation. The mobile habitation park is a skilful park and well maintained. But they provide well water and they treat the water themselves. Hence we observe that the water can gustatory modality and await different from week to week. The system was pretty easy to setup, only I did have to get to the hardware store to find different adapters to get the water lines to fit. (This was more than of a me upshot I remember). I've wanted a water filtration system for my home for a long time, and am so happy that I found this one. Installing it was surprisingly really piece of cake, and but took me about xx minutes. It uses push button to connect fittings, which is so much easier than having to use a bunch of tools. I as well noticed that y'all don't need tools to modify the filter, which is a huge plus. Information technology feels good to know that the h2o that my family unit and I drink and shower in has and then much of the lead and impurities filtered out. It even has wifi features on it which is and so cool. Information technology will alert you if the faucet is left on, and you can fifty-fifty close the water off using information technology. I definitely recommend this; everything about it is what I hoped information technology would exist.

Got this while firm filter 2 weeks ago and am very happy with information technology. It was very piece of cake to install, tool me under an hour. It doesn't accept upwards much space and I think it works great, already the water taste better and I call back even the shower cleanse better. I had no bug installing this h2o filtration arrangement myself after having read the directions. I installed and fix up the app, as well non too difficult. I've been using this for over 2 weeks now and I've very happy with it so far. This is all-time filtration system I've had in my house. I really like that information technology's wireless and allows me to monitor h2o flow and leak detection from my phone. I did have to install an outlet next to this unit, merely I am an electrician so that was no problem. My domicile is newer so there is no problems with the waterlines And they're easily accessible. We Dear our new water filtration and smart organisation. Information technology has literally been a house saver for us. Commencement off it was SUPER easy to install and get upwardly and running. Bought and installed this product today. Install tool less than 15 minutes with slip on fittings. Very solid bracket assembly. Replaced old whole hpuse filter with this system then pipes were already in place. Note you can alter the orientation of the inlet and outlet by turning the inlet/outlet assembly on the back of the head unit of measurement. Dainty feature! My simply complaint is the wifi setup. In the installation manual GE points you to world wide web.geappliances/connect which prompts you to install the SmarHQ app. This is non the app yous need to connect this appliance to your habitation network. Yous demand the Comfort GE Appliances app to setup and utilise the wifi features of this appliance. That information was nowhere to be found in any documentation. Information technology would be helpful if GE pointed customers to the correct app for their products.

I had very high hopes for this product but I was let down quite a bit. The catamenia through it is very poor and we can no longer run ii showers or flush the toilet and run the sink. The WiFi is incredibly difficult to connect and it will not reconnect if it gets unplugged or the power goes out. It seems to filter pretty good judging by how the filter looked after I used information technology for a scrap but overall I'm not too happy with it.

I purchased the system from Home Depot. Installation was very easy and setup with the GE app was pretty straight forward. I was a bit disappointed that the arrangement didn't include a starter filter but given that there are 3 types, I can see why it's not included. Also, a QR lawmaking to take you straight to the app from your smartphone would accept been nice. I wouldn't find the name of the application that I needed to install in the literature that was included.

I would give 5 stars if the wifi has stronger reception, ease of installation, ease of replacing the filter element snap- snap on characteristic and having the pressure relief valve and does not need a wide space is a huge plus! The entire family love the entirety of it with the GE water softener is perfect. Delight improve the wifi...

I wish that the filter was able to filter out drugs that are found in our canton's water. It can filter out chlorine; merely I wish it could filter out more contaminants.

Astonishing improvement in the water taste, scent and quality. There is withal bang-up water pressure level fifty-fifty on the quaternary floor bathroom. It took Plummer near four hours to install filter and water softener. Nosotros should have done this years ago.
